Jayson Stephen Carganilla

Jayson is a Maintenance, Asset Integrity, and Reliability Engineering Leader with more than 25 years of experience across major oil & gas, petrochemical, water, and power generation industries. He designs and assesses systems that prevent, mitigate, and control the deterioration and failure of industrial assets. His work sits at the intersection of asset management, engineering, and operations, helping organizations improve reliability, manage risk, enhance operational performance, and maximize enterprise value through evidence-based decision-making.
Jayson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Mapúa University and is a Registered Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines. He is also pursuing continuing education through the Asian Institute of Management and served as a visiting scholar with the ARG-PetroLab at Case Western Reserve University from 2017-18.
Through his writing, he shares insights that help engineers, managers, and business leaders make better decisions using proven technical and management frameworks in reliability, corrosion management, maintenance processes, asset integrity, and asset performance.
