Rohan Dubey

Rohan brings two decades of reliability engineering experience across gear systems, rolling bearings, and EV drivetrains to the page, most recently as a Technical Fellow leading gear-train engineering for a major EV manufacturer and an ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer.
His focus is on closing the gap between textbook reliability theory and the small-sample, time-pressured calls engineers actually have to make on the floor. Readers can expect grounded, field-tested perspectives on Weibull analysis, FMEA, FRACAS, and accelerated life testing; the judgment calls that don’t show up in the standard course.

Rohan is the author of Rohan’s Reliability Desk article series.
A column on the statistical and engineering judgment behind reliability engineering, the methods and trade-offs that determine whether a system survives its service life, for engineers who need answers that hold up past the first failure.
