A combination of acceptance sampling plans along with switching rules to guide using one plan then another.

Average amount of inspection
In acceptance sampling, the expected number of items to be inspected per lot for a given acceptance sampling scheme with a goal to reach a decision for a certain average lot quality level.
Average outgoing quality
The expected average quality level for a given incoming quality level experiencing an acceptance sampling scheme.
Inspection level
An index of the relative amount of inspection within an acceptance sampling scheme, and the relationship of sample size to lot size.
