Eddy current testing
Testing used on conductive material to measure wall thickness, defect locations, hidden pits or seams, gas pockets, inclusions, and coating thicknesses, allowing rapid results at low cost but of only a comparative nature with possible frequent calibrations required.
Extrinsic failure mechanism
An error initiated failure that may have occurred during the design or assembly process or initiated by a defect within the fabrication or assembly materials.
Fault

Alpha testing
