Rapid Reliability Assessment

Rapid Reliability Assessment

The need

Our Rapid Reliability Assessment is designed for small or budget constrained operations. Consulting engagements with the big firms are expensive and out of the question. This is for smaller operations that need something that is not overly intrusive, not expensive, and gives them big bang for their buck.

What you get

Our Rapid Reliability Assessment provides just that sort of service. We start with a brief analysis of a small data set before we arrive. Prepared, we arrive on site, do interviews, observations, evaluation of reports and other data. We identify problems, their solutions, and determine the quick wins – especially those that won’t require much investment. You’ll get a business case, showing efficiency gains, cost reductions and potential output gains you can achieve. Included is an estimate of the outside costs you might incur to achieve them, with a roadmap of activities that you can use after we’re done.

How long and how much?

It takes 3 days on site. Pricing is set to be well within most operations capability, plus expenses associated with travel.

Optional extras?

We can also provide a 1/2 or 1 day overview of our “Uptime Pyramid of Excellence.” It explains “what good looks like” to your staff and answers questions they may have. it is tailored for on-site audiences of managers, superintendents and supervisors who might be involved in implementing your Uptime Improvement Roadmap.

What is the return on your investment (ROI)?

Very high! Benefits include up to 20% reduction in maintenance costs and more Uptime to produce more. Additionally, revenue increases of 10X the dollar value of your cost savings are common. Combined, these lower the cost per unit sold, increase margin, income and working capital.

Your CFO is going to love this and the fact that benefits compound over time; payback repeats, year over year.

Our fees are easily paid with the first few low hanging fruit improvements, and usually in weeks or months, not years. Do you really need to wait for a budget to do something that’s such a no-brainer?

What are the alternatives?

You can do nothing and continue to get the results you are getting today.

You can go deeper with our Uptime Rapid Value Assessment.

Or you can talk to the big firms and they’ll hire us to visit you in their name!

Let’s talk

A brief call with your General Manager can kick this off. A few questions and answers can even help us with a preliminary business case before you commit any money at all. Contact us for more.
