We just held the Annual Apex Ridge/NEHALT seminar, sponsored by Qualmark. We had a full house again which was great. This year’s seminar was in three sections.
The first section discussed the methodology for balancing reliability with other product goals during a development program.
The second session was on Reliability testing tools and how to use their outputs to steer program decisions and design improvement. The third session was on specialized HALT testing techniques.
We then followed that with a HALT demonstration and tour of the lab facilities.
This is the video from the first section on balancing reliability goals with program objectives. I challenged myself to have zero equations, no graphs, and no bullet points.
I believe the outcome was a fun and entertaining presentation. Enjoy and look for posting from the other two sections soon. I would love any questions or feedback on the presentation.
It’s an interesting topic that needs more investment in product development programs.
