I really enjoyed this podcast. I have my undergrad degree in nutrition and was a practicing Dietitian. I then went on the get my master’s in industrial engineering and become a quality engineer. The relationship between fad diets and quality is well described in this podcast. Actually, the relationship between the discipline and systems required to implement and sustain a quality program/culture is the same as any nutrition plan or change for an individual.

Thanks, Ellen! I think arriving into the Quality field through other fields really informs and deepens one’s quality practices. I appreciate your affirmation of the point of podcast—it’s hard work to get sustainably better.
