Hey guys ! I LOVED the podcast this week. This semester, I am now teaching a graduate class in production and inventory control, and we cover almost everything you talked about including EOQ, lead time, ordering costs, carrying costs (we call it holding costs), cost of downtime, quanity discounts, etc. I will require my students listen to the podcast !

Hi David
Glad you enjoyed it and it is relevant to what you are teaching. I don’t think those equations are used enough in industry. Let’s us know if you have any other topics you want us to discuss.
