Matthew Meyer is the Senior Manager of Maintenance and Reliability Services at The Mosaic Company. Matthew is responsible asset integrity of both the Minerals and Concentration facilities of the Phosphates BU.
Matthew has over 33 years of manufacturing experience in areas of maintenance, operations, engineering, and technical services. He has worked in roles in the meat processing industry, fertilizer industry, sweetener industry, and corporate ERP deployment. Over the years, he has conducted business in over 20 countries around the world. Matthew recently completed a 3-year assignment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the Director of Performance Excellence, building the entire technical side of the business from the ground up in a joint venture operation, MWSPC (Ma’aden Waad Shamal Phosphate Company).
Because of Matthews eclectic experience he has a unique perspective on asset integrity concepts and how to drive manufacturing in a positive direction. No matter the industry he dedicated to the pragmatic application of both practical and theoretical reliability concepts to generate maximum value to the organization.
Matthew hails from Sainte Genevieve, Missouri; acquired his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and his Master in Business from the University of Tampa. He has been a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional since 2001.
He currently resides in Valrico, Florida and enjoys spending time with his family; staying primarily busy as an Assistant Scout Master for his son’s troop 89.
