Marc’s interest in trade related work surfaced at a young age while helping his father do home improvement and renovation work on the family home. Later as a teenager, he was attracted to repairs and performance improvements on his car.
It was during the summer of 1972, when he was offered a summer job at Eastman Kodak Company working as an assistant to a Millwright in the Film Manufacturing Division. This work brought him up close and personal to the machinery and materials involved in manufacturing.
When the summer job was over, he was able to join the Kodak Construction Division on a full time basis as a Laborer. In the summer of 1975, an opportunity to enroll in an apprenticeship as a Pipefitter and after graduation, he landed back in film manufacturing.
His roles and assignments at Kodak over the next nearly 30 years included everything from mechanic to manager, and it gave him a broad knowledge of all trades and practices.
2007 brought an opportunity to take a buy out from Kodak and Marc found himself at a small manufacturing facility as the Facilities Manager, overseeing the maintenance of the manufacturing facilities as well as buildings and grounds.
After just two years, he was recruited to CAMPUS Construction Management Group, Inc. as a Field Manager in 2009. His role from then until now has been the oversight and management of field operations, managing budgets and schedules on both renovations and new construction on public school projects. His broad background and experience across the different trades has provided him with the knowledge and understanding of all the trade interactions and needs, which proves valuable for prioritizing and scheduling work.   Along the way he came to understand and leverage the value of personal relationships and their value in the business world.
